A myth-inspired liqueur brand that combines premium packaging, feminine storytelling, and mystical worldbuilding to turn fruit-flavoured liqueurs into immersive luxury experiences.
The Challenge
Beyond heritage and nightlife
Alcohol packaging tends to fall back on the same cues: heritage and tradition, minimalist luxury, vineyard imagery, or nightlife gloss. Aeaea's Vineyard was built to avoid all of them. Instead of borrowing familiar markers of exclusivity, it builds its identity from character, mythology, and sensory atmosphere, turning fruit-flavoured liqueurs into something closer to an immersive experience.



The Approach
A brand spun from myth
The world is drawn from Circe and the island of Aeaea. Each liqueur is personified by its own sea-born nymph whose personality mirrors the flavour and mood of the drink, so the range reads as a cast of characters rather than a set of products. Colour, typography, decorative borders, and patterned detail make every bottle feel collectible while still belonging to one mythic world rooted in transformation, ritual, and feminine power.
The naming of both the nymphs and their elixirs came out of research and brainstorming, chosen so each name carries the flavour and feeling of its drink. The result is a sparkling white, a chardonnay, and a rosé, each with its own myth, voice, and visual identity.


On the mythical island of Aeaea, Circe stirred her wines with ancient spells, potions that unraveled pretenses and revealed the truth within. With the help of her sea-born nymphs, she crafted elixirs that shimmered with magic.


Packaging
Myth and character on every label
Each label is built around its nymph, with typography, colour, and flavour cues tuned to her personality. For Nerisse, soft lychee pink sits against deep elderberry purple, delicate set against bold. A black patterned background adds mystery and luxury, with the tasting notes woven into the pattern like whispered incantations, so the label works as both a flavour cue and a piece of worldbuilding.
Digital Recipe Cards
Cocktails as worldbuilding
Built in Figma, the digital recipe cards extend Aeaea's Vineyard beyond the bottle with conceptual cocktails drawn from each liqueur's character. Framed by the brand's decorative border, every card belongs to the same mythic world.
Names like Waking Spell, Secret Siren, and Velvet Dusk were chosen to match the mood of each flavour, turning recipes into part of the brand's ritual and indulgence.
Reflection
What I'm most proud of
Aeaea's Vineyard was the first project where I really felt like a designer. I'm proud of where the packaging landed and the design choices behind it, and especially of the illustrations and how tightly they connect to the storytelling. It's the project where concept, craft, and narrative finally came together for me.
